Real Stories from Real Firms: Offshoring Journeys in Their Own Words

This month, I wanted to do something a little different.

Rather than share a typical article, I’m excited to bring you four short videos (just 3–4 minutes each) featuring interviews with clients from across Australia—each at a different stage of their offshoring journey.

These firms vary in size and location, but what they have in common is something many accounting firms share: challenges around finding and retaining talent, and uncertainty when first exploring offshore staffing.

On a recent team trip, I had the opportunity to sat down with these clients to capture their stories. Three are still in their first 12–18 months of offshoring, while one has been with us for over 10 years.

Among them are smaller firms and one very large practice—all offering honest, practical reflections on what led them to offshore, what worked, and how they’ve overcome familiar hurdles.
