I've been with Frontline for three months now, and during my first onboarding, I was a little scared and nervous carrying the baggage of a hostile work environment from my previous job. My mind was filled with "what-ifs"—questions that I keep asking myself.
"What if Frontline isn't the right fit for me?"
"What if I can't meet their expectations?"
"What if I fail?"
But all those doubts began to fade when our manager, Ms. Jandy, announced that we were listed for the Team Trip.
Sounds exciting, right?
So, this is what the Frontline Family feels like.
I’ve been involved in various activities, experienced a healthy work-life balance with 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. working hours, and received excellent compensation and benefits. I even received gifts and a cake on my birthday, and we celebrate career milestones together as a team.
Consistent training from our well-experienced Co-Founders, Mark Cottle (CEO) and Jon Ryall (Director), along with the management team, has been a cornerstone of my experience.
This is what every employee dreams of.
This is my dream company.
Training That Transforms
As a marketer, I’ve always believed that change is inevitable. Processes evolve, strategies shift, but improvement in work quality should be consistent.
Just like what our CEO always tells us, “You are responsible for your own growth”
This mantra has reshaped my mindset as a new hire. Every training webinar fuels my hunger to learn, and I eagerly anticipate opportunities to expand my skills. The wisdom imparted by our leaders encourages me and my fellow new hires to step beyond our comfort zones. I’ve become more aware of the complexities of managing teams across different time zones and cultures, which has opened up new horizons I’m excited to explore.
The Onboarding Experience
Participating in the onboarding project at Frontline requires passion and dedication—qualities that define the Frontline Support team. I’ve witnessed the skills of each department, their collaborative brainstorming sessions, consistent idea updates, and teamwork. Welcoming new hires at Frontline isn’t just a formality; it’s a warm embrace into a family.
Isn’t it exciting to join a company that treats you like family from day one?
Here’s a fun fact about Frontline’s Onboarding Program: before you even start, everyone is already excited to meet you. The FA team knows who you are, and whether you’re onsite or working from home, they’ll give you a warm welcome.
On my first day, our CEOs, Mark and Jon, personally sent me a heartfelt welcome message from the Frontline Accounting Family.
The Impact of Onboarding Training
As a member of Frontline’s Marketing Team, training has been a vital part in helping me gain new knowledge and skills. It’s also essential for understanding who we’re working with and why we’re working for this company.
We’re guided to identify the skills we need to improve and learn how to become more valuable to the company. These insights are applied in our daily tasks, driving continuous growth.
Much like the Hemingway Iceberg Theory, where formal training represents only a small fraction of what employees need to learn, Frontline’s approach goes deeper. The training environment encourages employees to gain practical understanding through guided practice and exploration, fostering consistent growth.
Why Frontline?
If I could go back to my first day, I can now be certain that I will be a better and more effective employee than before, thanks to the consistent training I’ve received from Frontline.
